In a World Where Journalists Are Questioned, Great Ones Lead With Ethics
This capstone project explores the evolving ethics of journalism through research, analysis, and storytelling. It examines professional codes of conduct alongside first-hand accounts from working journalists, revealing where written standards meet the realities of practice. At its core, the project asks: what makes journalism truly human, and how can ethics guide its future?
This project also examines how emerging technology is impacting journalism. By examining recent legal disputes involving artificial intelligence and news content, it explores questions of trust, transparency, and responsibility. These cases reflect the ethical challenges journalists and news organizations face as the industry continues to change.
